Responsibilities:
- Supporting overall purchasing activities for
the plant in achieving key performance indicators (KPI) of the
department
- Driving process improvements projects related
to fulfilling suppliers' requirements
- Lead in cross departmental and inter-plant
collaborations concerning pricing, supplier, localization and cost saving
activities.
- Lead and manage team towards achieving
section’s key performance indicators and continuous fostering team work.
- Interface with Engineering, Quality and
Logistics division to ensure time to market of new projects are being
achieved.
- Collaborate with commercial buyers to achieve
best Quality - Cost ratio
- Manage a team of Purchasing Quality Engineers
- Drive actively for Supplier Preventive Quality
Management
Requirements:
- Master's or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical /
Mechatronics / Electronics Engineering with commercial background.
- At least 8-12 years of working experience with
exposure in technical purchasing field.
- Strong understanding of mechanical processes.
- Strong negotiation skills and knowledge of
product market is an advantage.
- Strong interpersonal, communication and
leadership skills, self motivated, results oriented and a team leader.
