Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia – Bosch Security Systems introduced two new innovative conference systems today – CCS 1000 D Digital Discussion System and DICENTIS Wireless Conference System. Ideal for fixed and temporary meeting areas such as convention centers, government offices, boardrooms, conference rooms, and parliament, the new line is also fitting for small and medium conference settings.

Launched at Aloft, Kuala Lumpur Sentral Hotel, the event was specifically organized to give Bosch Security Systems’ distributors, system integrators, consultants, end users and members of the media to get a first-hand experience and live demonstration on the CCS 1000 D Digital Discussion System and DICENTIS Wireless Conference System.

Janesta Woon, General Manager of Bosch Security Systems Malaysia commented, “Both CCS 1000 D Discussion System and DICENTIS Wireless Conference System have been receiving positive feedback from users since it was first launched. A testament of its effectiveness through innovation is that both products were awarded the iF Product Design Award in Germany in February 2015. ”

Bosch’s CCS 1000 D Discussion Unit, CCS 1000 D Control Unit and the DICENTIS Wireless (Extended Device) conference systems were awarded with the coveted seal of excellence by iF Product Design Award over 5,000 product entries from 53 countries.

CCS 1000 D Digital Discussion System

CCS 1000 D Digital Discussion System makes it extremely easy to manage meetings and is ideal for small to medium sized meeting areas such as town halls, local business centers and courtrooms. The system is easy to set up, use and designed to encourage productive meetings.

The system delivers satisfying speech intelligibility thanks to advanced digital audio processing, superior microphone and loudspeaker performance. The loudspeaker and microphone can be activated simultaneously to create a natural face-to-face meeting feel, encouraging participants to take part in meetings more.

At the heart of the system, the Control Unit powers the Discussion Devices and can be utilized to control cameras and interface with external equipment such as sound reinforcement or public address systems. In addition to this, live video feed of active speakers can be shown on a big screen, through the system’s native support for automatic camera control. Up to six HD cameras can be easily connected to the system without needing additional software.

Audio of the whole meeting can be recorded conveniently with the built-in MP3 recorder, which makes it possible to archive meetings electronically and avoid the need to manually record meeting minutes. The inbuilt audio system utilizes a built-in Digital Acoustic Feedback Suppression (DAFS) so users can raise the volume without causing any ‘howling’ or ‘feedback’ effect.

DICENTIS Wireless Conference System

The DICENTIS Wireless Conference System uses state-of-the-art technologies, standard Wi-Fi and smart wireless management to ensure interference-free wireless conferencing. Designed to be the most flexible discussion system available, it enables quick and easy set-up at small meetings and large conferences.

DICENTIS can also be connected to any tablet (Android and Apple devices) or laptop to configure system, audio or user settings. True Wireless connectivity enables a direct connection to the Wireless Access Point (WAP) with mobile devices without the need for additional equipment, such as a router. Its wireless features are perfect for applications in multi-purpose rooms and settings where flexible wireless solution offers significant advantages.

The wireless device is built with high-end finishing materials and incorporates an elegant 4.3” capacitive touchscreen, a discrete unobtrusive high directive microphone and built-in Near Field Communication (NFC) reader for identifying users. The device is designed for fast, intuitive use and enables a superb meeting experience. It can be either used as a discussion device or chairperson’s device and a company logo can be uploaded to customize the device. Running on wireless technology, the DICENTIS battery can last up to 30 hours and takes less than 3 hours to be fully charged.

The wireless conference system also features a high directive microphone, allowing users the possibility to view the meeting room without obstructions. The microphone contains two precisely positioned capsules, giving it a high directive response which makes it possible to have a larger speaking distance than normal even in noisy conditions. The microphone has low noise and low susceptibility to interference from mobile phones.

Future Proof Conference Systems

The CCS 1000 D Discussion System and DICENTIS Wireless Conference System can handle a variety of external equipment, making it highly convenient when looking for an upgrade.

For example, the CCS 1000 D can support an interpretation system, language distribution, and a public address system. Also, the system can be used as an interface for tele and video-conferencing tool, by connecting two remote locations with each other. In addition, the number of Discussion Devices can be easily scaled up or down in minutes - without needing to turn off and restart the system.

Being OMNEO-ready, the DICENTIS Wireless Conference System can be expanded with Bosch DCN multimedia systems and other OMNEO devices, resulting in future-proof solutions.

Both CCS 1000 D and DICENTIS can be interfaced with external HD cameras, providing a wholesome audio and visual experience within the conference setting, making it highly useful in both small medium sized discussions. A HD camera can be integrated with the CCS 1000 D through the central control unit and the DICENTIS through the WAP.
